They dye it green so that the golfers know to avoid it, I imagine. It does successfully kill overgrowth.

you should find out what it is because whenever these products are used, there is drift. It is also tracked into the home where carpeting cleans it off the shoes. Herbicides usually need sunlight and water to degrade so it can build up in home flooring and stay there. Children should be kept off the carpets where this has accumulated. Young children do not have matured systems to deal with many of those poisons.
Also, many of those products are neurotoxic

Find out the name of the product, then search environmental health publications or the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides at www.pesticide.org as they have charts that show health effects of various products.

They age rapidly at the end of their short lives. They usually only live for 2 years in the wild.

Our local zoo has two cute little possums. They're always sound asleep in the daytime.
