I was just looking at a NYT front page from mid November 2012 and comparing to today

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/12/31/business/media/the-year-on-page-1.html?_r=0#page=20121116

Nov 16 2012 - top stories about BP, Walmart, Isreal and Hamas, Alzheimers, Bloomberg, and a few smaller stories. A little over a week after Obama's reelection.

Today - http://www.nytimes.com/

Trump's YouTube. Sessions issues. Trump and Twitter. Trump's opposition to wind farms. Trump's business conflict of interest. Repeal of Obamacare. Trump on education. The alt-right.

We've jumped the shark. A bull has entered the china shop and is breaking everything in sight.

When a president is re-elected, you wouldn't expect loads of stories about him, But I don't remember Obama dominating the headlines all the time in 2008, especially with gaffes, idiocy, multimillion dollar payouts for fraud ...
