(2,434 posts)in Mrs. Johnson's 7th grade English class as well. We were working on book reports and it was surprising how many were reading a biography of Jackie Kennedy.

(3,424 posts)All of a sudden the P.A. system had the radio going into all classrooms. Just utter despair and shock. Students, teachers all crying as announcement was made that President Kennedy was dead. School was let out and we all just walked around in dazed grief.
I think everyone who was old enough to understand on that day not only remembers, but still can actually feel how they did during that time.
