Hillary Clinton is like a political prisoner.

Republicans, in recent years, have been able to tske the strongest assets of tbeir opponents and turn them into liabilities. That is what they did with Hillary Clinton. Fact-checkers found that her statements during the campaign were more honest and truthful than any other candidate running, including Bernie Sanders.

Although she was protective of her family and friends, because of past experiences, she was in reality one of the most honest politicians we had seen in recent years. She was transparent in everything that was required of her. Republicans, with the assistance of the corporate media, were able to brand her as "Crooked Hillary". Many Democrats also bought into the propaganda.

Now, they are intent on seeing her put in jail, or maybe not? They would prefer President Obama pardon her because that is all they would need to prove her guilt.

This is hanging over her head like a dark cloud. It is criminal to play such games with our political opponents. It is meant to silence her and to spread fear within the Democratic Party. It is the stuff of 3rd world dictatorships.

We have to put ourselves in Hilary's shoes to understand the depth of these threats. She does not take them lightly. One of the prime motivators of the new President-elect is revenge. He will use everything within his power to destroy his perceived enemies. We are watching unguarded power in the hands of a dangerous demagogue.

and her actually record is enormous. I learned that when I first started to look seriously at her in 2015. To this day, the great majority of people with negative views on her repeat that disinformation perpetuated by the GOP and, as we now know, the Kremlin, disseminated by sometimes unwitting accomplices across the political spectrum. That propaganda proved to be central in ushering in fascism.

And I'm not in a forgiving mood--just reading Al Giodana's tweets on the blockage of a certain Ted Kennedy sponsored immigration reform bill that was blocked in 2007--so as not to "alienate" white working class voters, guess which certain now famous "independent" voted to block it.

but what you speak of (the silent threat) is what keeps her from claiming the mantle that is rightfully hers.

7. Since wikileaks revealed all the "fact checkers" were actually coordinating with her campaign

"You do realize that Wikileaks
Was able to show that nearly all of those "fact checkers" were actually coordinating with her campaign? "

Since wikileaks revealed all the "fact checkers" were actually coordinating with her campaign to hide her lies maybe you can regale us with the lies she told. Please add citations. Thank you in advance.

We need to rebuild a party that can compete for the the vote of the average American and the longer we hold on to these third way interlopers, the harder that is going to be.

-inchhigh

Were the 62, 314, 184 Americans who voted for her, some 2.1 million more than voted for her opponent , as of now as we are still counting , not "average" or not "American" ?

Thank you in advance.

The Clinton campaign was approving stories before they ran? Apocryphal "fact checkers" were coordinating with third way interlopers? Does Bannon know about this? What about Rapey Julian?

As for "her" being a bad candidate...she got more votes than anyone else who ran, more than Sanders, more than Trump.

But, bless your heart for sharing your theories. Keep us posted on your efforts to rebuild whatever party it is that you belong to.

Via the Kremlin. The pathetic thing is anyone would actually believe it. This is exactly how Trump got elected. That is the kind of willful ignorance that is destroying this nation.

Fact checkers coordinated with her campaign to lie? That is the kind of nonsense that led to Trump being elected. Or did it show they followed up to ask questions? That kind of disinformation is dangerous because the ultimately resulted in a fascist govt.

The party DID get the votes if average Americans. She had her greatest margin with voters under $30k and won under $50k. Trump won higher incomes. Clinton won women and people of color. What about any of that is not average? I think what you mean is you want Democrats to represent white men rather than average Americans.

There was no third way in this election, and Clinton wasn't the interloper. Your comments show that you've spent the election consuming and disseminating Propaganda circulated to get Trump in office.

You need to get your head out of the past. Those problems that so consumed the anti-Democratic "progressives" are a thing of the past. We are embarking on a fascist state with a president openly engaging in graft, and you're acting like this is the 1990s. You better wake up fast. Or perhaps you prefer fascism with white male supremacy to "interlopers" like Obama and Clinton? Make America great again.

And, he won with a record number of votes. I can only imagine what they would do to Hillary had she called for and won any challenges under the current circumstances. It will be bad enough should Stein's attempts be successful, even with the 2-3 million more votes she has.

15. Josh Marshall's take on this topic:

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/this-is-how-dictators-talk

We're seeing yesterday and today that Donald Trump and his advisors are signaling that he doesn't plan to seek the prosecution of Hillary Clinton. "I don't want to hurt them," he told 60 Minutes earlier this month.

The personal desires of the President, his mercy, is irrelevant to this kind of decision. Either there is something to investigate or there's not - and a lengthy investigation that came up with nothing to prosecute suggests there isn't anything. This isn't the Colosseum where everyone waits on the Emperor's thumbs up or down. America is not a place where those who lose elections live freely at the sufferance of the victors. This is certainly better than Trump trying to jail Clinton as he promised, but only so much. What if Hillary Clinton becomes an outspoken critic of President Trump? Does he reconsider? None of this is normal. This is how strongmen talk.
