4. The Wisconsin Dems made the effort to recall Walker

and filed recalls against many other elected officials. The protests went on for weeks. This was a massive volunteer effort.

So to you, the Dems did nothing?

The Dems were great with the recall protests but enough wasn't done after they stole that election

Winning was proof it must have been fraud. There's no other possible rational.

That sort of attitude is a big part of why it's hard to have a real conversation about where the party should go. Too many people are convinced that any time any Republican wins, it must be cheating.

And then 2006 happened.

Republicans are running the government like Enron. They are running to get as much in as they can right now, not caring about the price later, because in a two party system, with parties that are as entrenched as ours are, it's really hard to stay completely out of power for long.

There is no evidence that Republicans are rigging elections. They are throwing up barriers to voting, but those barriers can and must be overcome. There is absolutely no evidence that they are tampering with vote counts. We can work to get people IDs, we can fight redistricting in courts and by getting elected at the state and local levels, we can fight targeting specific groups for ID purposes. Throwing our hands up that they are rigging things and it's just impossible is silly.

11. Machines

They have known since 2004 that the machines could be manipulated. They are manufactured and programmed by republican controlled companies. There was a lawsuit over it the last year Bush was in office he had a gag order put on the out come. Yes Obama got elected but is it not funny that no matter how popular he is no democrats got in office. Complacency is what got us here. The democrats need to grow a backbone and quit singing Kumbaya to the bullys. If they really believe what they are saying they need to fight and not back down. We have been stuck with a lot of bad laws because of the compromise with the republicans. If it is a bad bill block the hell out of it.
