a good number of country musicians lean liberal but i think they aren't as open about it always just because of some of their audience .

there is more lgbt involvement in country music these days also.

"We Shall Be Free"

This ain't comin' from no prophet
Just an ordinary man
When I close my eyes I see
The way this world shall be
When we all walk hand in hand

When the last child cries for a crust of bread
When the last man dies for just words that he said
When there's shelter over the poorest head
We shall be free

When the last thing we notice is the color of skin
And the first thing we look for is the beauty within
When the skies and the oceans are clean again
Then we shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, walk proud
'Cause we shall be free
When we're free to love anyone we choose
When this world's big enough for all different views
When we all can worship from our own kind of pew
Then we shall be free
We shall be free

We shall be free
Have a little faith
Hold out
'Cause we shall be free

And when money talks for the very last time
And nobody walks a step behind
When there's only one race and that's mankind
Then we shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, walk proud, have a little faith, hold out
We shall be free

We shall be free
We shall be free
Stand straight, have a little faith

We shall be free

He is the father of several, I think 3, daughters.

To my knowledge, Garth is the only performer from that inaugural concert who walked out onstage and made a special point of waving at the adorable little Obama girls.

It was pretty sweet.

And then, he proceeded to blow every one away with his performance.

He is also the author and performer of one of the best songs about love and tolerance since "Imagine". Garth's contribution..."We Shall Be Free". I get chills.

He is a good guy.

"Yeah, I think what President Obama is finding out is all that we want to do, the system kind of doesn't allow the most powerful guy in the world to kind of do his job and I'm sure nobody's more frustrated than him to complete those promises that he did and I think he's trying his heart out. I love him to death and I fully support him and I just wish him well because it's got to be hell in that office," said Brooks.

They need to realize most of the entertainment industry won't touch Trump with a 10 foot pole. No one wants that poison near them. And then the knuckle draggers get mad and boycott. Actors, musicians, director/producers. If they keep boycotting because of their faux outrage, they won't have much to listen to or watch. Poor dumbasses
