Seriously? Calling a 10 year old "satanic", and all the other nonsense in this thread?

If we've let the shitgibbon and his followers turn us into the kind of folks who insult children...wow, they've won.

this one is just a mini-Donald Trump and will grow up to be as horrible and evil as his father one day. I don't really see any hope for this boy turning out to be a decent human being. Just because he is young now does not mean that he cannot become a horror in ten or twenty years. Sorry, but I just don't have it in me to give a shit about any spawn of Donald Trump, regardless of their age.

No. Nikita Kruschev would not have been brazen enough to so blatantly try to manipulate an American election.

I am not afraid of the Ruskies.

Neither am I. They are a second world power. What I am "afraid of " is they have a puppet in the White House.

Now that I addressed your response you can address mine.

Do you or do you not approve of the Russian manipulation of our election on behalf of Donald Trump?

This doesn't strike you as very similar to the MO regarding WMDs?

Ummmm, no... Intelligence can be flawed or biased. That is a reason to look at it critically. It is a not a reason to casually discard it. Would you prefer Donald Trump disband our intelligence agencies and get his intelligence from Steve Bannon or Michael Flynn?

Do you believe Donald Trump is telling the truth that there is no Russian hack and that seventeen intelligence agencies and Barack Obama are liars?

I trust President Obama, the seventeen intelligence agencies, and private cybersecurity firms like Crowd Strike that the Russians hacked the e-mail accounts of the DNC and key Democratic players and leaked the information to help Donald Trump and the Republicans and hurt Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

Putin knows he presides over a second world power that doesn't export anything but gas, doesn't innovate, and basically has nothing going for it and wants to pull the western liberal democracies down to Russia's dismal level. He now has a pal in the White House. Every American, left, right, or center should be outraged.

Intelligence can be flawed or biased. That is a reason to address it critically, not discard it. The consequences of acting in the absence of intelligence (basically gathered information) is unfathomable.

The kid probably does know more than the old guy about computers!

As for your other point--it will be hard to get the fool to accept information that goes against his perceived self-interest, no matter how much evidence is provided. Belief seems to trump truth too often.

Cui bono? Who benefits by denying Russia is behind the hacks? Hillary will never be president so confirming the hacks will never be of the same benefit to her that denying the hacks is of benefit to Trump because it makes him look like a puppet.

Trump's argument that the intelligence agencies lied/were mistaken about WMDs is self serving and dangerous. What happens when there is real intelligence something bad is afoot and he needs to share it with the nation or the world. If something doesn't redound to his benefit it's useless to him.

Trump went on about Barron's computer prowess:

"So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is — it is a huge problem. I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable."

-Donald Trump

I just made a riff on it.

BTW, read it closely. The poster you are referring to is calling those commenting in this thread and the OP "buffoons.".
