how to cover Trump because they know how much he lies & he lies intentionally because it has worked for him all through the primaries & election simply because of the media like the WSJ not doing their job.

I still think it is wrong not to call people out when you know they are lying to the American people. They are smart enough to make a determination if the news org is wrong is calling it a "lie" & it is just a mistake of facts, nothing intentional. That is what the WSJ should let the American people determine.

The news organizations that are the worst with this kind of thing or do it the most are the cable media like MSNBC, CNN & of course faux news which is an entirely other story. Chuck Todd on his show is one of the worst when he has people on especially republicans & lets them run wild with his just sitting there like a dumb ass doing nothing to correct whatever they say. Same with the other Sunday Morning News shows.

When you know people are lying, you should call them out.

You're publishing fake news and assisting with his gaslighting of America. I'd consider them unreliable from this point.

Calling someone a liar, when all evidence points that way, is telling the TRUTH.
The Editor of the WSJ needs a refresher course on journalism ethics.
I suggest he start here:

I just finished a complimentary 90 day trial subscription the WSJ. I couldn't be happier now that it's gone. In the end I used it as a fire starter in the wood stove.

The editorials were so pro-conservative over the edge I couldn't read them anymore.

It would appear that Mr Baker does not agree with Mr Murrow's standards of journalism.

But it would be terrible if they "looked like" they weren't being objective.
