When will the MSM realize that most of the country doesn't believe them?

Rs haven't trusted the "liberal, lame-stream media" for decades. And after the MSM's overt and successful efforts to get Trump elected president, a majority of Ds have now lost all faith in the MSM as well.

Ds realize that the MSM spent the better part of a year peddling fake news to the public, tearing down Hillary and promoting Trump whenever possible. Ds also realize that few in the MSM have stepped up to admit their complicity in turning the country over to a cabal of knuckle-dragging thugs.

And yet, the MSM continues to whistle down the paths of their own graveyard, acting as if all is normal, like the public is buying their "trust us, don't blame us" bullshit.

Well, I'm not buying it and neither is anyone else I know. Disgust with and mistrust of the MSM is widespread among liberals, at least those liberals that I know personally, and certainly among liberals who frequent online sites like DU.

Sadly, there is no indication that the MSM posseses even an ounce of self awareness when it comes to realizing how their own actions have completely demolished any sense of trust they have enjoyed from the public. CNN, MSNBC and the Broadcast networks? I trust the National Enquirer more than I trust you.

I hope you're proud of what you've accomplished.

The slide picked up speed as the old guard died away or retired.

My daughter is an Editor at a mid-sized paper in the Chicago area. Cost cutting and profit are ever-present concerns. Do more with less philosophy.

Some had higher standards than others but bias was common, in some eras even the rule.
