....."I have met (President Obama) on many
occasions. He’s a very nice person," Graham told a Russian newspaper. "But he supports and promotes policies that contradict the teachings of God. As a Christian I believe that abortion is murder, he supports it. Homosexuality and same-sex marriage — those are sins against God, and the president is promoting them. I’m not against homosexuals as people. But God commanded that marriage should be between a man and a woman."

"And I very much appreciate that President Putin is protecting Russian young people against homosexual propaganda," Graham continued. "If only to give them the opportunity to grow up and make a decision for themselves. Again, homosexuals cannot have children, they can take other people’s children. I believe that President Obama (and I’ll repeat, he’s a very nice person) is leading America down the wrong road. He’s taking a stand against God."
...............

The "situation in the US regarding religion is in decline. Secularism, which is almost no different from communism, is an atheistic movement. Our country is becoming more and more secular, more atheist, taking God out of government, taking God out of schools. We are witnessing America losing many religious freedoms," Graham told the Russia newspaper. "In your country over the past 30 years, we have seen positive changes. But over this same period of time in the US, the changes have been negative."
............

Graham had a meeting with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow (photo, above), who has close ties to Vladimir Putin and has grown in power as a result. "I call for prayers for the president of Russia, who is protecting traditional Christianity,” Graham told the bishop.
...........

“When I was a young man, we worried that the world would become atheist under the influence of communism, but while communism fell, atheism didn’t go anywhere. Unfortunately my own president promotes atheism … I spoke about this with President Obama, but he did not understand. Unfortunately he does not have a Christian worldview.”.....

He is advocating censorship of "homosexual propaganda", whatever that is.

He is an enemy of civil liberties and yet another Christian right traitor.

He funneled large sums to other "religious" conservatives who were able to advance his political ambitions.

....."When I first saw that he was getting in, I thought, ‘Well, this has got to be a joke,’" Graham told ABC News at the time. "But the more you listen to him, the more you say to yourself, ‘You know, maybe the guy's right.'”

Sometime in 2012, Trump used his foundation to send $100,000 to Graham’s association — one of the largest donations the foundation would make to any group that year.

In 2013, ....... Trump used his foundation to donate $50,000 to the American Conservative Union Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the group that organizes CPAC and sets its program. He did not ask for a speaking slot in return, but he did not need to.

“Everyone’s too smart to say, ‘Donate and we’ll let you speak,’” said one source familiar with the donation. “It was kind of understood.”
...........

But Trump’s greatest early political exposure might have come from Citizens United, a conservative political group whose president, David Bossie, met with Trump in 2011 about a potential presidential bid and remained a close ally. More recently, Bossie took leave from his group last month to join Trump’s campaign as deputy campaign manager.

The County actually flipped to blue this year, but I was shocked at the Pastor's sermon.

The Pastor made a point of emphasizing that Joseph and Mary were poor refugees, to make sure people got it he repeated it three time. He had commented on general world issues in his opening, specifically Syrian refugees, but never explicitly tied them together.

Then he went into how many Christians, particularly Christian leaders, don't back up their words with actions AND thus drive people away from Christianity. I doubt 10% of the attendees got it, but the message was damn clear.
