He believes he wasn't at Trump's Mar a Lago on New Years Eve.

But he was there. There's a picture.

He believes he wasn't there because he wasn't wearing a black tie (or presumably a white shirt).

He believes his presence (as a known member of the media) at the president elect's $500 a plate New Year's Eve money making event was a non-issue because he didn't pay. Well that's a whole different kind of disturbing.
