Planned Parenthood rallies outside Sen. Manchin's office

http://www.wvgazettemail.com/news-health/20170103/planned-parenthood-rallies-outside-sen-manchins-office
...."A small group of Parenthood representatives and supporters rallied in front of Sen. Joe Manchin’s Charleston office on Tuesday to encourage him to support federal funding for the group’s family planning services.

With a Republican-controlled Congress and an incoming presidential administration that has threatened to repeal the Affordable Care Act, health care coverage for about 184,000 West Virginians lies in the balance. Many of the patients who visit Planned Parenthood’s West Virginia clinic are covered by Medicaid, which the state chose to expand in 2013 under the ACA.
........

“West Virginia is one of the states that’s benefited the most from that expansion, and we are part of that,” said Alisa Clements, director of public affairs for Planned Parenthood’s South Atlantic affiliate. Manchin, said Clements, “is a crucial vote in making sure we don’t get defunded and that the Affordable Care Act does not get repealed.”
........

At its Vienna clinic, Planned Parenthood provides breast and cervical cancer screenings; annual gynecological exams; counseling on birth control methods, including plan B; pregnancy testing; testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections; and testicular and colon cancer screenings for men.".......

act like the Repukes so we don't lose the coal States.
It never works, but they keep trying.

Do you want to defend him supporting ACA repeal?

“I think it’s absolutely wrong…” concluded Manchin, denouncing those in both parties with hard-line stances on the law. “I’m willing to look at replacing, repealing, doing everything that we can to make it better.”

any of his positions that I have found. His daughter is the scalper who had him pass the law about epi-pins in schools and then jacked up the price. He's just another thief...or repuke who has stolen our colors to help him duck under the wire.

the more progressive factions and to use some of his popularity.

But I can't say his ideas are bad.

There always has to be one spotlight hog, "last honest man" style conservadem who the dems use as their fall guy and excuse for all the shitty things they do or don't do.

No wonder he was given a high profile role in Schumers senate.
