Rockettes Told to Tolerate Intolerance in Secretly Recorded Meeting With Management

MSG executive chairman James Dolan told the Rockettes they were expected to tolerate intolerance during a meeting about the dance group’s performance at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Marie Claire obtained audio of the meeting, which was secretly recorded by one of the Rockettes late last month, and reported the women “still seem to largely oppose the decision made on their behalf to enter this particular political fray.”

"I mean, it just sound like you're asking us to be tolerant of intolerance."

Dolan: "YEAH, in a way, I guess we are doing that... What other choices do we have? What else would you suggest?"

How about that intolerant people be tolerant? Why is it that concessions are demanded of only one side?

In my experience the majority of them would rather be told what to think rather than expand the energy to try doing it for themselves.

"Difference of Opinion" = I don't like brown couches.
"Bigotry" = I don't like brown people.

"Difference of Opinion" = I don't favor the Gay 90s.
"Homophobia" = I don't favor gay people.

"Difference of Opinion" = This color paint isn't right for the room.
"Sexism" = This woman isn't right for the job.

Really. Not. That. Difficult.

Unless you think your workers, who produce the entertainment that makes you rich, don't have the right to say "no" to a bigoted sexual predator who says "if you're a star, they'll let you do anything (including grabbing their genitals). Now Dolan is blasting the whistle-blower who leaked the tape as "cowardly and deceitful".

I would guess he is referring to a potential backlash/boycott if they refuse to perform.

I'm sure someone can correct me - but I believe a majority of the revenue comes from tourists attending shows. Trump supporters appear to be nothing if not spiteful.
