And why should they? They already passed a law that- at most- needs some tweaking. Republicans as per usual just want to blow the whole thing up, come up with an inferior plan that barely covers anybody or anything, splash some lipstick on it, and pat themselves on the backs. Why do they need Democrats for that and who in their right mind thinks that they'll listen to Democrats or that Democrats will want to participate in their shell game? Does anybody in their right mind think that the Freedom Caucus will vote for a plan that has been "tainted" by Democrats (or any plan that does anything at all)? No, the Republicans want Democratic cooperation in cleaning up the mess they're about to make. They want Democrats to co-own their scheme. I can't imagine that there are any real Democrats whom would take the bait on this (nor should they).

8. Personally, I think Dems should be helping GOPers understand changes necessary, like

increased subsidies, lower out-of-pocket costs, Public Option, etc. In fact, we ought to be offering the tweaks that need to be made in a comprehensive bill.

Yelling, criticizing, stalling, etc., won't get the GOPers to do the right thing, and we will be viewed as the obstructors when it's all over. While obstruction might make some of us feel better, it won't get the goal of universal -- and better -- health care for everyone enacted.

Our biggest problem is that not many months ago, people right here were calling Obama and Obamacare a POS. Now that it's endangered, we like it just the way it is, no changes.

One of the media talking heads who seems to go full force on Dems and backs down and seems to be afraid of republicons is, Anderson Cooper. Among others on CNN but Cooper loves to give CONS talking points when a CON and a Dem are going at it on an issue..
