Holding Trump voters accountable uncomfortable and needed. Otherwise theyll keep screwing us all.

It’s not President Obama or the Democrats…..

These Granny starving, hateful assholes are in power because a large portion of the nation is fearful, racist, mean and hateful.

I am in fact shitting all over the Trump voters because they voted for a Racist, Misogynist, Xenophobe and incompetent wanna be fascist……I don’t care that some of them voted for Democrats for the last 100 years…BFD…In November they voted for the Orange Skinned Gropenfuhrer….

Fuck them….Period….

How hard they are working is immaterial….Their income is Immaterial…. They could see the reality of what A Trump presidency would bring and they still pulled the lever for him….

Racism and fear won out over hope and optimism….

... Trump supporters will have an entire fictional universe set up to counter all of Trump's fuckups and failures over the next four years. Alt-right fake news nonsense and so forth which will pin all the blame on anyone and everyone they can point fingers at who has a "D" after their name. I'm guessing, of course, we'll hear more endless whining about Obama from them (just when you thought at least THAT was finally over).

I have little to no hope these losers in their faux universe will EVER come to terms with actual reality. And so hold them accountable and throw their endless lies and distortions back in their face - but do it with actual thinking fair-minded people as your audience.

We don't need to convert the Trump losers to vote against him next time. We need to convert more independent or ambivalent people who stayed home this past November to get out there on our side.

Don't waste a single minute in head-to-head discussions against a Trumpster without someone you can reach watching and hopefully seeing through the Trump bullshit. And keep in mind those people will lie and lie and lie and lie, intentionally and with zero shame, so don't ever expect them to accept or acknowledge facts.

Our goal should be to humiliate and expose them and their entire fake news nonsense.

...

I have a friend (who I always thought was a democrat because she is very new-age, into crystals and other spiratual stuff).

Well, she apparently was a Trump supporter. (afraid of the Muslms.. Angry at the Mexicans... hated Hillary with a passion)

This floored me, and upset me a great deal. I couldn't believe it, and while I definitely did try to change her mind, to at least vote for Bernie in the primaries, I wasn't able to get her or her husband to change their minds. They had been reading things online that upset them. I found out she was reading Drudge and Breitbart.

I tried to tell her that those were propaganda sites, and about Fake news sites like Breitbart (before Fake News even became a 'Thing' in the media). All to no avail.

I have not talked to her since.

Well, she sent me an email this weekend asking when would be a good time to call so we could catch up, and that I don't need to worry, that she and her husband have gone 'off grid' since the election, and they aren't paying attention to politics any more.

Whut?!?!

That upset me even more. I can't even bring myself to respond to her. I was like: 'Isn't that just special, you vote for this Fascist, then tune out?'

I doubt I'll be contacting her any time soon. I'm just too angry at her at the moment.

it makes me ponder why she wants to talk about it now.

She walked into a booth and voted to say I am less of a person than a man.

Living in the hell of Southwest PA, I have many acquaintances who voted for this disgusting piece of shit. I have removed myself from all my volunteer work and am now exercising at home...I also quit Facebook before the election. I will volunteer with my friends who attend the local Mennonite Church but that's it. I know a lot of people in the area and they can't understand why I have dropped out of sight....I can't breath the same air as these despicable morons who voted for such evil.

Keep reminding Trump voters of all the things they said were important to them during the campaign, and point out the yawning chasm between their stated objectives and the reality of the Trump administration. Did you really want the Grand Canyon opened up to strip mining? Was it really your primary objective for thousands of people to get sick and die of totally treatable illness? Because that's how things are shaping up, regardless of why you think you voted for Trump.

If only someone had warned you. Oh, a lot of people did, but you thought they were just a bunch of librul know-nothings? Looks like you were wrong about that, too. What would a thoughtful, intelligent person do when they've made a colossal mistake like that? Dig in harder in defiance of reality, or examine their core beliefs and ponder how they could have been so wrong?
