How could they all agree to be so nasty together, so united in their hate? Do they take hate pills?

I did specify "emergency," right?

When calling an ambulance, call several different companies for the best price, right then when you're bleeding.

We should all plan ahead so that when we are lying unconscious in a pool of our own blood, we can choose the least expensive ambulance service. Oh wait, there seems to be a problem with that plan!

When my 16 y.o. son did a face-plant off his bicycle we didn't go shopping for a neurosurgeon, facial reconstruction surgeon, and other assorted professionals that were needed on the spot. All we had in the necessary lineup was our family dentist. This disaster was waaaay beyond the skillset of our pediatrician and internist.

That was over 20 years ago, and I still shudder to think what would have become of him and the rest of the family if we had not had any insurance coverage.

that insurance cos. would sell from the state or states with the least amount of regulation on them. Which would then mean that consumers would buy health insurance at a low cost, but as soon as they tried to use it, the insurance company would just declare BK, and the consumer would be shit out of luck.

maybe they'll have a case for that. Right now, the poor can't choose a common cold every couple of years while the rich choose ailments requiring advanced transplant surgeries and/or prolonged chemotherapy. It doesn't work like that and neither does health care.

So fuck off, Republicans. If you want market based health care, get rid of your own platinum plated insurance first and see how you like it.
