why repukes don't like healthcare but are adamantly against assisted suicide? Why are they against abortion but want to defund healthcare so that there is inadequate prenatal care? Can anyone please put this into a perspective I can understand, or is the repuke ideology hopelessly irrational?

What they dislike is any of the "undeserving" receiving anything at all. They are willing to accept getting stuffed so long as the undeserving get stuffed much more severely.

Excellent article on this in the Post last week.

It is the logic that most people will be far more upset about some one less "worthy" than themselves receiving an extra half scoop of ice cream, than they will be about some one who steals the factory, cuts wages in half, and triples the price of ice cream.

Whilst I understand it, it makes no sense to me either how people will destroy their own lives in order to deny something to what they perceive to be a social inferior.

in the mailbox -- SS, Medicare, disability, ag checks to keep fields fallow, VA benefits. But some of those "freeloaders" getting benefits? Hell, no! People getting the health care help they need in a country that has for-profit health care is not the crime -- corporate welfare is. Something so many uninformed voters either can't or refuse to understand.

Craig Nelson on Glenn Beck. REceived Welfare and Food Stamps but thought no one(the government) helped him out. Where the H**l does he think that Food Stamps and Welfare come from? The Food Stamp fairy? The Welfare fairy?
