In one day, I'm suddenly afraid the gop won't repeal AHA.

Seriously. I know it's selfish, but I want them to repeal it and leave millions of amreicans without healthcare.

Because it's the only way americans will wake the hell up and start learning the truth: The GOP will never, ever, care about regular americans.

Old white guys STILL identify with them, but only the loss of healthcare, and the closing of more hospitals will snap them out of it.

If the recent election doesn't prove me right, tell me what would?

When pressed for details you will hear about how the ACA was unworkable and unsustainable and that whatever crapload replaces it was the best that could be done.

It will grant Americans the freedom to choose any healthcare they can afford.

Obama fucked it up so bad.

Or that is what they will be told and they will believe it. You need to remember the right of this country does not get factual information.

There is no chance of them blaming the correct party.

They just need to put tax breaks for the wealthy in it and squeeze some more from the few that still have a drop left.

What they'll do is tinker with it, raising deductibles and eliminating the preexisting coverage mandate. That will maximize their dividends and we'll all be thrilled, right?

They opposed it in '93, just as they opposed Obamacare in '13.

I doubt they'll have a change of heart now.

Wed Jan 4, 2017, 08:36 PM
Jan 2017

Repubs won't outright "repeal" it, although they may call what they do repeal; instead they will make changes guaranteed to make the whole thing collapse, then say "See, we told you so". Then they will put through another plan they call something else, but very similar to the Affordable Care Act. The whole point is to not give Obama or the Democrats ANY CREDIT for the healthcare "plan".

I know it's silly, but knowing one person personally brings it home to me more than hearing about millions of equally real people. I know someone who would no longer be on this earth without Obamacare.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't want people to die because they voted for Republicans. And I especially don't want innocent bystanders to die who didn't.

as will a number of family members and at least 20 others who I know.

Hoping repealing it will change the minds of millions of Trump voters who are too stupid or to hate full to even care if it harms themselves or their own families is madness.

F#@k that S$#t!!!!!!!
