Why does Trump want the intelligence community disinvest in cyber-intelligence? Something to hide?

Why else? Because they're so bad (according to him) at cyber-intelligence?

The only thing that makes sense is that he fears if they keep probing they'll find something he did criminally, perhaps during his campaign (colluding with Russian hacking) or before (fraud with Russian loans, ignoring sanctions, etc.).

Thus speculation runs this morning.

It's clear by his cabinet choices that his campaign was in communication with the Russian government.

He can't acknowledge that the Russian government was involved in the hacking because the next news story will show proof that his campaign was in contact with the Russian government.

It's inevitable that this will come out. The problem with this coming out after the inauguration, is that Pence was part of his campaign too.

The Russians have seriously disrupted our democracy. This is going to be a mess.

They couldn't just let Pence have it, if the campaign worked with Russia. Collusion with Russia would sully Pence, too, right? He was part of the dirty campaign.

It's a hell of a mess.

There's speaker of the house and senate pro-tempore, then SOS.

If things go the way I'm beginning to think they will, we may be looking at President Ryan and Vice-President Hatch.

Although, I think it's just set up to advance the president, if it goes that far Ryan would pick the VP, like Ford picked Rockefeller.

When asked about that, his company's response was pseudo-technological gibberish that made no sense.

Who benefits? That's the first standard to judge anything that falls out of this charlatan's mouth or crosses his Twitter feed. 11 times out of 10, it will be Donald Trump as the prime beneficiary. Anyone else who gets some collateral benefit will do so by purest chance.

It will take the ever-vigilant bulldogs of the Fourth Estate at least three years to catch on to this simple premise.
