(4,492 posts)It is for the march, but I live up to my screen name and wear cat ears quite regularly.

My cynical side just hopes that the marches all over the country will be at least a blurb on the news.

(2,573 posts)For some reason the = won't post in the title.....What I do is I blow up letters and then paste them on the sign - must be cardboard..oak tag etc..is too flimsy. Then I cover the whole sign in shipping tape so it will hold up all day rain or shine....and I can also reuse it and boy do I plan to reuse it....LOL.
When I make my sign I will start a thread with a pic and encourage others to post theirs..and we'll do a thread the night before to rally the troops.

(6,251 posts)are planning to march in DC. However, if the weather is bad, we may not make it. It's 400 miles one way, over the spine of the Appalachians, and even the interstate highways can be treacherous in the snow and ice.
I looked at the pussyhats, but I think they're kind of tacky looking. So I'm knitting dark pink berets for the lot of us!

(6,682 posts)Not sure how to post a link, but Google the March.
It may help with the details. There are threads on DU talking about signs and such. I've heard that if you're going to use mass transit, you may not be able to take a sign with a stick or such. Others on the sign threads should be able to let you know about that.
