(115,677 posts)Trying to maintain a sense of humor in bizzaro land. And avoid Hitler comparisons. But it's really difficult because the potential is so bad.
I've had the theory since being a teenager that humans have evolved technologically much faster than emotionally or socially and they would go extinct due to the actions of a few. But I've worked hard and helped people and the world with the hope I was just a pessimist.
Now? Not much hope for anything positive, just pain for so many.

(86,634 posts)but shooting cans and targets with certain faces on them will at least give the appearance of fulfilling an urge that I can't describe here. Some of my friends have bigger guns I can use if mine aren't sufficient in producing the desired effect.

The DNC was hacked by a stupid thing that you never do. And I suppose you could call it negligence. But he asked the IT guy and he was busy and said it was OK and yes, a stupid vulnerability.
But the Ruskies were coming at us from many different attack vectors. One was bound to hit.
