I am praying for another deep throat or a act of god.

The trump nightmare must end. It's affecting my health. I just went to the doctor and for the first time in my life i am now on high blood pressure pills. I told the doctor i have trumpitis. I know whats coming when trump takes office. Trump is a serial liar with mental health issues and the republican congress is the most far right congress in our lifetimes. In trumps first year millions of americans are going to get hurt.

They are going to attack obamacare, medicare, planned parenthood, civil rights, voting rights and federal workers. That's just the beginning. If you are a federal worker you better start looking for another job. There are millions of federal workers who do important work that makes all of our lives better. Trump and the extreme far right congress see them as a waste of money or something that should be privatized. A lot of trump voters are going to get hurt. They don't know it yet because they are gleefully ignorant.

They are going to put in place trickle down economics. We know how that movie ends. We get a economic spike, bubble and then the economy goes stagnant. Then somebody does something stupid because of deregulation and the economy tanks.

Foreign policy. All we can do is pray. I believe they are going to go after Iran. They are going to push for far right governments in europe. That's scary.

This is why i am praying for another deep throat. Trump has made countless enemies. Trump has led a dirty, corrupt life. I hope someone in the FBI or CIA finds some dirt on him that will bring him down.

If that does not happen i will hope for a act of god to bring this lunatic down. Heart attack, accident, anything. I don't care.

Good luck everyone. Try to protect yourselves and your families as best you can. Pay attention and stay alert.

It actually helps one to keep their sanity while getting down to matters of serious business. I could very well lose my mind over the tragedy known as Trump, and I've had more than a few restless nights contemplating when might lie ahead. However, a sobering but nevertheless funny political cartoon, or spot-on satirical commentary from the likes of a Stephen Colbert (among others) serves as a reminder that others also share the same concerns. So yes, let's have a good laugh but never give up the fight.

What happed this election will prove to be an anomaly in history.

I can choose to get worked up, and damage my health. Instead I choose to talk to Trump voters and attempt to change hearts and minds. I choose on getting the vast number of my union coworkers who voted for Trump to see what they did to themselves long term. I focus on my blessings like grandkids, spouse, friends, church, and work.

I also choose to enjoy the show as the repubs screw themselves into oblivion.

Damaging myself helps nothing and no one and prevents me from acting proactively. I will not give them the satisfaction of this getting me down. Instead enjoying an extra glass of wine and a toast to the future is my choice.

Yes there will be problems along the way, but this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Trump has made big time enemies in the news media. We need the news media to step up and protect us more than ever. Trump is going to lie about almost everything. Trump and the republican congress are going to do many things in secret. We are entering a very dark period in american and world history.

I try to do the same things. It's tough to do. I talk to trump voters and they just go silent or spout crazy talk. They are gleefully ignorant. I have cut back on watching the news and that has helped. At the same time you want to keep yourself informed. This is a bitch.

I can hardly eat or sleep. I will be going to the doctor this week and get checked... I have never had high blood pressure but I am having anxiety attacks. I have been a seasonal federal employee for years and my future prospects might be in grave danger due to the agencies I work for, and that $1 income bs would sink me. I may have to go into the underground again... now that I have reached my 60s, I only care about not being locked up, outliving my aged mother and that's about it. I think everything I have fought and worked for is going to be gleefully destroyed before my very eyes, and I can't bear that. I'm close to tears on a daily basis and I am not an emotional type.

I suspect we are in for some really rough stuff coming to our neighborhoods soon and it will be ugly. Maybe a general strike is in the cards in the near future. I am currently in a safe place living in a self-sufficient house that has off-grid capacity that, at present I can afford. That may not last long but I can, at least avoid the masses for now. I have been avoiding cities for years and now I think I will be even more reluctant to go to one.
