November 9th. We both got our flu shots but that did not ward it off. It is invasive. We are in constant abdominal distress, especially while watching cable news. The hacking is debilitating. It is horribly contagious and is sure to become pandemic within the next few weeks. There is no cure! If anyone has info that can thwart this infestation, please share.

Today I am stupid tired so I'm killing brain cells by watching Finding Bigfoot. At least the scenery is attractive...

For a decade and a half I didn't go more than a couple of years without being on drugs for pain or recovering from major surgeries, either of which left me too fuzzy to be good at learning new technology.
I had to give up building my own computers and now I am so behind on the technology I'll probably stick with collaborating with a local shop on the components and letting him assemble the parts. My current computer is already running two monitors so I don't have an extra video output to hook to my TV. I use the monitors for research (comparing info on two screens) and for image editing (putting my tools on the second screen so I generally can't run videos just on the computer.
I may look at the Amazon Fire again. I had liked Google Cast but didn't have a smart phone to use as a remote. I think Fire comes with a remote of it's own so I may look at that. I'd also have to sign up for Amazon Prime which I've been avoiding.

(522 posts)I have it also and am now having to take BP meds for the first time in my life. I took up growing African Violets and spend time reading some of the forums especially about them. Friendly folks who are always willing to advise you on your new hobby.
