Hillary doesn't owe us a damn thing

She doesn't have an obligation to fight.

She doesn't need to "get out there" and lead.

She's not required to jump up and down claiming she won.

She is not mandated to point out that we suffered a bloodless (so far) coup.

She doesn't need to get on the Sunday shows and point out the illegitimate nature of the President elect.

Hillary owes not one "give a fuck".

She has been fighting the fucking good fight her entire fucking life. But, when it came to crunch time...WE fucking let her down.

She's been accused of everything from murder, to running a fucking pedophile ring out of a fucking pizza parlor.

I wouldn't blame her if she moved to fucking Belize.

She put herself out there, vulnerable and ready to lead. She warned us of the shitstorm a fucking Trump presidency would be. She warned of the corruption, the racism, the hatred, the embarrassment on the world stage, the destruction of our environment, the screwing of the middle class, the fascism, and the pain that would be inflicted on our neighbors, family members and friends.

She beat that asshats by 3 million votes, but thanks to about 80k votes in 3 States, we've elected an orange colored orangutan with an asshole where its mouth should be.

So no, Hillary owes me, you, and this country not one fucking second of her time

I once read that Hillary had a sampler in her office that said, "Bloom Where You Are Planted". She always has, and I believe she always will.

She needs to make herself available to posterity when it comes time to explain this mess.

of Hillary and Trump in the same frame for future history books. It will make the discussion of what happened in 2016 to the first female nominee of a major party all the more vivid.

Belize or someplace like it would probably be it. You guys elected this unstable know-nothing nincompoop instead of me?

Good luck with that. Buhbye.

Claiming "Hillary needs to get out there and lead"

"Hillary has an obligation to fight"

"HRC should be on every morning show"

"Where's Hillary"

"Hillary should run for mayor of NYC"

Etc., Etc., Etc. To quote from The King and I

Tired of it. She owes nothing to this country.

What did Mick Jagger say? "If I could stick a knife in my heart and spill it all over the stage, would it satisfy you"

15. Well, I think a lot of people have opinions about what other people should do.

I, for example, have a very strong opinion about what Trump should do with himself.

I don't hold much hope of him doing it.

Mostly because it is anatomically impossible.

We let her down, not the other way around. She should now do whatever she wants to do. I think she will dust herself off and get back to work, though. She isn't the type to sit around doing nothing when there's so much to be done.

Hillary worked her heart out in this campaign. Yet, too many voters succumbed to the sexist and misogynistic spin the media has been peddling for decades, and that permeates our entire culture. As a result, we will be living the nightmare of a Trump presidency. She deserves every happiness, including freedom from demands to do more.

21. You misunderstand me if my use of the word obligation bothered you.

Saying she "almost has an obligation" to assert she won has two meanings. One is debt, and I don't mean that. I mean that if she chooses to do it, it is not for selfish reasons but that she can do it from a sense of obligation.

As to whether or not she actually has an obligation. She might. She took on the mantle willingly. There's nothing wrong with having an obligation. Did our voters let her down? Yes. Is she still obligated to help them? We would have to ask her. But someone letting you down doesn't free you from your obligation to them. It just means they failed in their obligation to you.
