A California law boycotting States denying Transgender bathroom privileges is in effect now

UC Berkeley gets a lot of funding from the State of California and I work at reimbursing Faculty, students and other who do business for UC. I reimburse them for travel and entertainment.

This morning we received a notice from our Chancellor that as of 1/1/17 we are not allowed to use State Funds to pay for reimbursements to Faculty or Students or anyone else who travels on University Business to Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, or Tennessee unless a statutory exception applies.

I don't know what the meaning of statutory exceptions is even though I've googled it. I think it has to do with actually working on behalf of the US Government, but I'm hoping a DU who does know will weigh in.

law-enforcement activities. There's also an exception for activities that were arranged prior to the ban (some out-of-state football games, for example).

the other states like Texas who are pushing this crap will wise up and change their hate rules. They claim to be pro-life but their hate does not conform to pro-life, they are pro-birth.
