Expect GOP/Trump Loyalty Oaths For Fed Workers. Civil Service Laws Be Damned.

We are seeing the beginnings with the firing of ambassadors and energy department heads. The GOP will do what it wants no matter how illegal. And the MSM will protect them and ignore what is going on and undermine any protest. I do believe the GOP is hardly worried about over reach because in their view they have the elections rigged in the future. They cleverly stole this one all across the board.

Right now the federal work force must be reeling. And I am sure there will be a lot of retirements and resignations which is what the GOP wants. They do not want ANY Democrats or non loyalists in the government.

Based on all the mayhem we see right now you can expect anything from the GOP legal or not. There is no one really to stop them from even fragrantly violating law. That violation even means laws like civil service. They will probably abolish civil service given the chance. Besides there are a lot of way to screw over federal workers. Create a hostile environment and you will eventually get your way.

Abolishing the Civil Service would not be an easy process, and would open the GOP to charges of trying to politicize the entire Federal apparatus. But yes, Department Heads can try to make like miserable for their workers.

The whole scheme of the GOP is to contract out just about everything and sell off all the public commons. They have been very clear about their intentions all along. I have watched them since 81 and all I have seen is the US sliding into this situation ever since Reagan.

They are so emboldened now.

A majority of those that would be qualified would never give up their muuch higher paying jobs in private industry. That leaves unqualified Republicans which there are plenty of....but not a really good idea. Better off just dissolving the government altogether once the pilfering is done I guess.
