11 days before the election Comey sent a letter to the republicans in Congress.

MSNBC was the first national outlet to report as "Breaking News, the FBI has reopened the email investigation"

THAT WAS A LIE.

MSNBC then proceeded to parade every right wing politician across their screen propagating that LIE, without an opposing voice.

After an hour, the other networks jumped aboard to spew the same LIE

MSNBC is NOT the "liberal" bastion that some characterize it as.

It's especially ignorant given that Todd and others like him were all too happy to report on the any allegations that came their way about Hillary, yet apparently everyone in the media knew about this "dossier" for weeks before the election and virtually NONE OF THEM mentioned it. Not a word. We know now that they knew that it was given to the CIA by several sources (McCain being one of them); we now know that the CIA went to the FISA court in order to monitor Russian banks to see if they were wiring money to Trump and/or his people. THE MEDIA KNEW THIS AT THE TIME AND THEY DID NOT REPORT IT.

The dossier is a real document. What they are still investigating is whether the events described in it occurred. The dossier was compiled by a former MI6 officer than the CIA believes to be credible.
