Bill OReilly tonight said we should all expect that the press and Donald Trump will be an ongoing soap opera.
He recapped todays press conference, in which Trump clashed with CNNs Jim Acosta and called his network fake news, and OReilly observed that the president-elects demeanor was just as direct as ever.
The press, he thinks, is still fixated on the election and looking for any way to take him down:

(100,081 posts)Which I happen to be watching right now. I swear Donald Trump is the Joker. That line where Batman says "What are you trying to prove? That deep down, everyone is as ugly as you?". I swear that is what Donald Trump is trying to do. He's bringing down the press, he's bringing down intelligence, he'll bring down freedom of religion and separation of church and state. Which are the very fundamentals that make us better than the rest of the world. It will be utter chaos. And Bill O'Reilly is a member of the press, he should be as afraid of Trump as we are.
