Trump isn't a boyfriend. The idea that a bad woman - a bad mother - is at the heart of all problems is a deeply sexist myth.

In fact, we had a wonderful mother running for president. Trump isn't her boyfriend.

It's always the woman that doesn't have the strength to stand up to an abuser. It's kinda old.

Because Obama is a man and Trump is a man. That's why he is the creepy boyfriend.

The joke doesn't work if you reverse the genders, because then it would be mommy leaving daddy and daddy's lying, dick-grabbing, shady girlfriend moving in. And apart from the joke not working anymore because the characters have become unregognizable, there would be ONE HELL OF A PANTIES-IN-A-TWIST OVER-REACTION HERE ON DU because someone dared to portray a female character as a bad person.

So, which female character do you prefer? The mother with the creepy boyfriend or the trashy dickgrabber?

It's just as sexist and false to imply women don't. We're human beings; we can fuck up just like the guys and do.

In fact, the analogy had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton.

You seem to be the only one who gets it. This is one reason why Hillary Clinton lost. There is a lot of casual sexism even among so-called progressives. And they really get mad when it's pointed out.
