Just like the recent complaints that "Alt-Right" provides shelter for White Supremacists, because it masks the groups true background with a nebulous term that hold little meaning to people...
Obamacare should NEVER be used to describe the Affordable Care Act by itself.
Apparently, many people believe that Obamacare and the ACA are two completely separate entities. This was brought about by years of RW media and talking points to mask the ACA under Obamacare. Many here, including me, have embraced Obamacare as a term that was meant to have shame associated with it. We liked it, we hated it when the RWers tried to brand it, then embraced it again as a work of Obama's. Well, the wingnuttery, the less-informed and easily duped of society can not distinguish that Obamacare and the ACA are the same thing.
Many ACA insured believe that the ACA was killed off and replaced by an "Obamacare" substitute.

Since the RW have distorted the messaging of the ACA and Obamacare, and have apparently won over a large swath of this country, media should no longer use either term by itself, they should use both terms together. ie:
ACA / Obamacare
ACA, otherwise known as Obamacare
ACA (Obamacare)
ACA (aka Obamacare)
Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)
Obamacare / ACA
Obamacare, otherwise known as the ACA
Obamacare (ACA)
Obamacare (aka, the ACA)
Messaging is important, and when reading almost every news lede, it mentions Obamacare, without the ACA pairing.
These two must be tied together.
