More Plagiarism: Crowley may be regretting

that she accepted the Trump position.

Now they've figured out that she plagiarized her PhD thesis. Columbia and her advisers should be massively embarrassed that they let this slip by.

I know my supervisor would have kicked me in the ass all the way to the door if I had of even tried something half as stupid.

That amount of lifting takes a great deal of arrogance, balls, and disrespect of the process.

One can hope that Columbia does the right thing and force her to rewrite her thesis.

We've had two recent cases where the final written assignment of their entire academic career was plagiarized. In other words, the single thing standing between them and graduation. Both were dismissed and permanently barred from reapplying. One sued, and lost.

No rewrites. Just yank the PhD.

I am currently in a graduate program and the policy of the University where I am enrolled is, aside from the review of the professors or TA's, is to run random papers through anti-plagiarism software. When in doubt, cite. Your paper is not as pretty with the names and parentheses but you don't get kicked out and humiliated as I am sure Crowley will be before this is over.

The man associated openly with mafia figures. He has been the subject of over 3000 lawsuits for shady dealings. I doubt, if he even knows what plagiarism is, that he sees it as theft. Trump has not ethical core so he has no qualms about surrounding himself with unethical people.

So AFTER she was very publicly caught plagiarizing in 1999, Columbia didn't bother to check the sources she cited in her 2000 thesis to see if she copied addtional portions that she didn't cite . . . unbelievable.

This is grounds for REVOCATION of a degree. Basically, doing something like this, if you're caught, gets you blacklisted from your field. Career ended- game over.

.

Some British firm offers a 99.9% accuracy in checking paper sources to see if someone else wrote the paper.

The first step would be to check all of Crowley's papers to see if any incorporate a different writing style, linguistics, level set, etc. This would indicate if she had others write a paper on her behalf, whether another student or published author.

Taking this to the next level, they could compare her written works against the cannon of written works and papers--seeing if another student or author was the actual writer of her paper(s).

Someone like Crowley would be smart enough to not take a job that requires them to be vetted. Well, if she was smart she never would have plagiarized.

So much nonsense already from this peotus.
