Senate takes major step toward healthcare repeal

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/12/us/politics/health-care-congress-vote-a-rama.html

It is very unlikely that the ACA will survive, and I wouldn't hold my breath for a replacement anytime soon. If one comes, it is highly doubtful that it will be an improvement, and more likely that it will be much less.

I called my Senators and Representative. Unfortunately, Senator Feinstein is out on Medical leave, so we have lost one vote there. We needed three republicans to prevent its repeal, and it is looking less and less likely.

A lot of people are going to get hurt before this is over, and a good number of them deserve it. Elections have consequences.
