The GOP is intent on taking apart the entire country. We won't be divided in the end. We will be fragmented and balkanized. The Democrats seem to think that parliamentary maneuvers and protestations will work. I do not know what we do but I am really worried about what I see going on. The fact that the media will collude with Trump/GOP and will be enablers as much as anything is more alarming. The way they let Trump treat them was appalling. Yet they did not have the sense to just get up and walk out.

Perhaps I am overstating the situation. But the non press conference was just a show so he could tell the press he is in charge. STFU and go along or you will be punished.

2. My hunch is the country will fall apart under Trump regionally. The collective no will eventually

say F no. Then, Trump will have fulfilled Putin's dream, to see the US regionalized and weakened. The chaos might become so great, Trump will declare martial law. I hope not, but there might be some really F'ed up times ahead. First to go will be freedom of speech, severe internet monitoring ... MSM will be ignored and much of the regime might operate in silence.
