Former MI6 spy in hiding 'from the Russians' over Trump dirty dossier made £1million in two years while working undercover supplying FBI with information as he cracked open corruption in FIFA

The spy at the centre of the Trump 'dirty dossier' controversy made more than £1million in two years by supplying information about FIFA to the FBI.

Christopher Steele's British-based company, Orbis Business Intelligence, uncovered corruption at international soccer's governing body, leading to the resignation of top officials, including president Sepp Blatter.

It was this work which gave credence to his reporting on Trump's entanglements in Russia, officials in the US have said.

It's one thing to piss off Putin or Trump, but quite another to piss off the international football establishment.

He may have also been involved in sports doping by Russia and others. So he would be on their list.

Possibly, the Russians or other Eastern Europeans fed him disinformation in order destroy his credibility and his professional career. I'd think that Putin would be pretty pleased at how things have turned out.
