Wikileaks says Assange agrees to extradition in exchange for Manning pardon

Assange agrees to be extradited to US if Obama grants clemency for Chelsea Manning http://hill.cm/1JZgG4G

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says he will agree to be extradited to the United States if President Obama grants clemency to Chelsea Manning, the organization tweeted Friday.

If Obama grants Manning clemency Assange will agree to US extradition despite clear unconstitutionality of DoJ case https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/765626997057921025

Manning, the former Army intelligence analyst who is serving a 35-year-sentence for leaking classified material, is reportedly on the shortlist for a possible sentence commutation by Obama.

Her lawyers say she has already served the longest sentence of “any whistleblower in American history.”

In December, a petition asking Obama to commute Manning's sentence had more than 100,000 signatures.

Poor little home-body is just trying to make it look as if he's still relevant to the world in some way.

regarding a sexual assault case. Some people believe that he is wanted in the US, as well, for some sort of charges, but that's doubtful really, since he is not a citizen nor has he resided in this country.

Some people think he could be extradite to the US, with Sweden allowing it. Personally, I don't think there will be an attempt by the US to extradite him.

The U.S. has nothing to do with it. If there is still a grand jury investigating Wikileaks, that's all fine by me since any rogue organization needs to be closely examined, and if such examination is being done by random citizens on a grand jury, more power to them.

It still has nothing to do with Assange. Even Australia doesn't come to his defense.

There is a reason he likes Trump so much. Both like to proclaim over and over how powerful they are -which only goes to show how impotent they are, but neither man is bright enough or self-reflective enough to understand that.

Wikileaks/Assange believes it can prop Trump up and can take Trump down any time it wants to.
