Call the P.C. Police! Officer Whines That Someone Wrote Black Lives Matter on Their Box of Donuts

You can’t make this stuff up… or maybe you can?

An unnamed, unidentified police officer has claimed in a blog post online that his box of donuts from Krispy Kreme were graffiti-ed when he received them with the phrase, “Black Lives Matter.”

The alleged incident occurred in New Smyrna, Georgia, and the local police department says that they are looking into the issue.

Why they would be looking into such a harmless act is a mystery as no crime was committed. Surely they have something better to do than follow up on an innocent instance like this?

To its credit – nor maybe to its discredit – Krispy Kreme issued a statement in response to the incident on Thursday, apologizing to the police force and promising to train its employees in “mutual respect.”

Once again, it is worth noting that this alleged officer who was allegedly deprived of socially-conscious-free donuts has not come forward and identified him or herself. And yet because of public backlash against what is essentially a rumor, this company has issued an apology.

They pretend it is offense, gee how sensitive of them. I think all officers need to take mandatory sensitivity training courses. It would help with their fragile egos.

What a pathetic statement. What a pathetic cop and a coward for not coming forward.

I get that cops feel under pressure over this (which itself is silly), but I would think the cop would be embarrassed to basically be admitting he or she is to petrified to be allowed to have a gun.

The fact that the local police are investigating demonstrates exactly why they need to be reined in. Nothing about this, other than misuse of police resources is illegal.

but this donut story seems to have a hole in it. I could imagine cruller things to put in a box of donuts.
