Senator Lewis did not go into the wilds, in search of the elusive fiddlehead conversation or morel commonality.

Ordinarily, if a journalist asked his subject this question, I'd think it was to draw out more information. In this case, I think it's because chucktodd really doesn't know any reason whatsoever why anyone anywhere would not consider Trump a legitimate president.
