Something very ugly is bound to happen on January 20.

Either tRump's goon squads or Brown Shirts or "casual" supporters will end up harming somebody. It's terrible to contemplate, but that's what happens when you have a Fascist Festival with alcohol involved.

because I am now pretty sure that "something" awful and big is being planned. Why wait for September when so many innocent people will be right there on day one?

Not looking good safety-wise.

I never said anything about doomsday. I certainly would never predict any sort of widespread violence like Kristallnacht or any such hyperbolic, hysterical nonsense.

Nonetheless. . . There WILL be SOMEBODY who will be beaten or worse. . . . And even ONE person is unacceptable. Given the nature of this entire appalling event, it is a GIVEN that some idiot will pull a gun or pick a fight. . . Just think about the idiots who have either shown up with a gun or threatened to do so at COMET PING PONG.

These people are stupid, and they LOVE guns.
