1. We got one in Colorado Springs that started about 1pm this afternoon...

They have evacuated several neighborhoods close to the mountains. It is burning out of control at the moment.

We love to vacation in that area. Really sad to hear those beautiful trees are burning.

Ok Longmont's fairley safe, but it is getting pretty rough here in CO.
By the by. For those who think Obama ain't done nothing; he did sign up to foot the bill for some new 'slurry bomers'.
Oh sure complain about spending. You probably don't live a few miles away from a forest fire!

Live about an hour away and we thought it would be cooler. It was, but only by about five degrees. Crazy. I feel so bad for all of the victims.

I was just on my back porch with binoculars watching the flames flare up and it seemed like when they would hit a new tree, they looked like a huge candle from a distance....and then, in less than a minute, they were gone...
