(1,779 posts)Because of a most competent crew, no one died, but I am pretty sure we won't be as lucky.
Trump is not competent, he has no interest in being competent, and having a successful presidency is more difficult at this time of multiple crises than landing a plane in the Hudson River.
And trump is responsible for a hell of a lot more than 155 passengers!

(43,182 posts)Instead we have a guy named Dave, a party DJ whose already downed 2 rum and cokes and yer the passengers have decided he should fly the plane because it would be interesting and different.
Meanwhile there were people on board with actual flight experience.

(15,238 posts)I respect the voices of hope but there is no redemption in the Trump administration or Republican Party.
The highly touted cyber war was fought America lost to Russia and we are about to be occupied by a foreign power. Like the perfect crime no one is aware happened, this was the perfect war few want to admit happened and we lost.

(3,922 posts)As a country, the US is akin to a large aircraft that is rapidly running out of fuel with a incapacitated captain at the controls.
Can the good people take over and safety guide the aircraft down or will this effectively be the end for the USA?
