NY Times expanding DC Investigative team.

"...to ensure that we continue to deliver the in-depth journalism our readers deserve, we’re expanding, including the addition of a new Washington investigations team to our existing teams covering the White House, Capitol Hill and the Pentagon."

Also subbed to WAPO and the Guardian. Both are new, and am fortunate enough to pay the dues, instead of repeating the scrub history routine that allowed reloading.

Along with regular subs to Vanity Fair and New Yorker, I hope to support expanded investigations by all.

that the current fiasco getting ready to be sworn in and all the controversy surrounding everyone and everything he is involved with is that it will spawn a new era of true investigative journalism.

There is NO WAY that very damning things aren't out there to be uncovered on this jack wagon.

It seemed that the field was ripe for a few dedicated journalists to reap a harvest of Pulitzers and other prizes. Instead, the major outlets turtled again and let the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth run unfettered across the media landscape to question Sen. Kerry's military career. Not a peep out of any of them about how the U.S. was lied into a war with Iraq, or the torture regimes instituted by the land of the free and home of the brave.

Will they do any better this time? Magic 8 Ball says "Reply Hazy Ask Again Later."

that twitler displays results in severe blowback.
Maybe someone he insults will decide to give him a taste of the vengeance he so quickly doles out.

leaves a lot to be desired, and does the public have any ethical
and civic values left? That's what brought down Nixon. You knew
he was lying and a crook, and you knew it was wrong. Can the
public tell the difference anymore?

He's going to keep excoriating and insulting the press for aggravating his general paranoia. He could (easily) incite his brownshirts to literally go after them.

It's do-or-die time.
