The excuse is, Trump supporters have jobs so they can't go to Washington. All of those people in Obama's inauguration concert crowd? They must all have no jobs so they can go They always have some excuse, some way to reconcile the bullshit that is republicanism.

They all work for a living, don't ya know. Unlike all of the govt freeloaders living off of welfare and food stamps at Obama's concert.

I can't take it. Looks like Netflix tonight. Trump can't sit still. Oh wait. Is Ted Nugent appearing? Maybe I'll stay for that!

(and IMHO, I think it was due to a bit more than the 2 shows the company cited as the reason)

We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial was a public celebration of the then forthcoming inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States at the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on January 18, 2009. By some estimates the attendance was over 400,000.[1]

. . .

The concert featured performances by (in alphabetical order) Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Jon Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renée Fleming, Caleb Green, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, Bettye Lavette, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Jennifer Nettles, Pete Seeger, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, U2, Usher, will.i.am and Stevie Wonder.[3] Several of the songs performed had been used by Obama's presidential campaign.[4]

The concert also featured readings of historical passages by Jack Black, Steve Carell, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, Samuel L. Jackson, Ashley Judd, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah, Laura Linney, George Lopez, Kal Penn, Marisa Tomei, Denzel Washington, Forest Whitaker and Tiger Woods

Well, I could quibble about the inclusion of Tiger Woods. But I remember this concert: it was pretty damned great. Especially Pete Seeger.

I did not watch tonight's concert, so I can't comment on the performances or crowds--I can only imagine. And what I am imagining is not yuuuuuge.
