Trump as Icarus

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icarus

The designer of the Greek maze, the Labyrinth, was Daedalus. He and his son, Icarus, were imprisoned by the King of Crete. Daedalus schemed their escape by building wings held together by wax. When the time was right, they strapped on the wings and flew away. Before their flight, Daedalus warned his son not to fly close to the Sun. Being a brash youth who didn't believe his father's caution, Icarus did just the opposite. He flew towards the sun; the wax melted; the feathers fell away; and so did Icarus.

My point: Trump will overreach. He isn't the kind of personality that "does regular". Everything is yuuuuuge. And it will lead to his demise, not ours. Our job is to take steps when there is a void of any size, any kind.

But I see the whole GOP as overreaching. I find it hard to be patient awaiting their reckoning.
