(146,331 posts)It was a given that everything on it would be taken down immediately after the Inauguration. Nobody should be surprised by that. The site is an official government website, operated by the President and his staff. More's the pity, of course, but no other outcome should have been expected by anyone.

(33,034 posts)& done Pride Festival work with have all been white & wealthy, all but 2 were male. It is almost as though their money & status were more important parts of their personality then their 'queerness'. Money sort of protects them; a wealthy gay hotel owner in NYC hosted an event for Ted Cruz, that is mind boggling and appalling.
