It is not like we did not have a good reason to go ahead and give the 2016 election a postmortem, indeed we will be studying its lessons for years to come. But there were too many people under the wire trying to go ahead and get their last crack at Bernie or Hillary and all that did is waste valuable energy that we are going to need to survive the next four years. And anybody who still wants to go ahead and play the whole "if only you listened to us" game will need to be told that they are not helping.

We don't need this, we need to come together.
