Oh, STFU, Susan Sarandon

Today:

Susie thinks we have no memories:
June 3, 2016:

Oct. 21, 2016:

She and her fellow SteinTrumpers spent the campaign encouraging the Bernie or Busters, telling them that Hillary, not Trump, was the one who needed defeated.
Those BoBs in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania who stayed home, allowing Der Trumpenfuhrer to win those states by less than one percent, were listening to this nonsense.
Voting third party is one thing, but actively minimizing the danger of a facist takeover of the US is morally unforgiveable.

And now, she wants to waltz in and attach herself to the women's march as if she's some champion of their issues and a member of progressive royalty.

Takes a hell of a lot of nerve.

You said you were fine with President Pussygrabber taking power. You wanted this. Big tent be damned, now get the hell out of the way while the rest of us fix it.

Whatever mistakes the Clinton campaign made, they were just that: mistakes. Clinton and her team did everything they could to prevent Trump from becoming president. The Greens/BoBs did everything they could to ensure Trump became president.

Big difference.

Sarandon's just wired that way. She would ignore The Rough Beast just installed at the head of our nation to be against any mainstream Democratic candidate if neither Hill nor Bernie existed, regardless of positions. If she were in a Scandinavian country, she'd be against the mainstream candidates there, regardless of positions. This is just how those given to extremist reactions are.

WE need to recognize it so we evaluate these attacks from the far left for what they are. Note that those on the far left cannot form a party Sarandon could be proud of because of intrinsic incompetence.

I have no apology for this low opinion, and I can't help it there were some people so filled with hate as to state that "Trump's not that bad."

Trump is a racist pig, and anyone with an ounce of sense could see that. Clearly there are people in this country who lack an ounce of sense, but I have some sense of satisfaction that there were 2.5 million more people who had sense than assholes who lack sense.

That an artifact of a 200 year old constitution placed in it to protect slavery and slaveholders has allowed similar minded racists to seize the government of the United States is not a function of the fact that I refused to kiss Susan Sarandon's ass or the asses of like minded people.

Susan Sarandon being an ass is not my fault either, but I'm not kissing her or any other ass because Trump's seized the government.

Weakling cry babies - including but not limited to Trump voters - whining that we deserve this because we didn't kiss their ignorant asses get zero respect from me.

A great tragedy is under way, and if there are people who think it's taking place because we didn't kiss their asses, well unlike the rest of us, they deserve what they're going to get.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

" In this way of thinking, the real enemy of progress is incremental reform that would render the status quo tolerable. That was the position of the German Communists in the early 1930s, who refused to ally with the Social Democrats, proclaiming: “After Hitler, our turn!” A similar—if less deadly—assumption underlay Ralph Nader’s 2000 presidential campaign, for which Sarandon served as co-chair of the national steering committee. George W. Bush, Nader argued then, could serve as a “provocateur,” awakening the power of the left. “If it were a choice between a provocateur and an ‘anesthetizer,’ I'd rather have a provocateur,” said Nader. “It would mobilize us.”"

so there is no problem whatsoever about reminding everyone of that.

See, when you support a side in the primaries, you're still supporting a Democrat, and so you deserve protection on a Democratic side. When you say the Republican is better than the Democratic candidate, you've supported the misogynistic arsehole whom the protest is aimed at, and you deserve the brickbats.

You're not 'poking DU in the conscience'. You're waving your finger around in the air without connecting with anything solid at all.

You make Sarandon relevant by this stuff. Let her shoot off. She has the right. Just quit commenting on it.

Sarandon didn't help her lose. HILLARY CLINTON WON THE POPULAR VOTE.

Susan Sarandon is equal to the white men who are upset of losing their relevance. Women can see through her or not. She is just not important enough for folks to keep carrying this angst.

Now she will feel the need to comment on her detractors and this stupid side issue keeps on going. Focus on the future.

than the policies he ended up implementing. He was forced to act by a tide of people's movements. Even so, he continued to preside over Jim Crow and implemented the New Deal in overtly discriminatory ways. He also faced a situation of 25% unemployment rather than 4.7%. Ignoring historical context is not a valid approach to understanding past presidencies.

Now I'm well aware that progressivism has come o be defined in ways that pertain only to the white male population, but th rest of us do think about our own lives and rights. To repeatedly ignore the majority in evoking mythological historical heroes is unacceptable. I understand the jackholes do it because they are overt in their determination to return the Democratic Party back to its Jim Crow days, but I don't believe you share that goal. I therefore expect more if you.

For example, she said that Hillary didn't support the $15 minimum wage and that she still supported the TPP.

And she said this (after Comey's letter bomb, when Hillary's poll numbers had started to plunge):

Fear of Donald Trump is not enough for me to support Clinton, with her record of corruption.

Now that Trump is self-destructing, I feel even those in swing states have the opportunity to vote their conscience.

And here's what she said in June:

http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/in-the-know/282143-susan-sarandon-clinton-more-dangerous-than-trump

Actress Susan Sarandon says Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy makes her a greater national security risk than Donald Trump, adding that it's "inevitable" the White House hopeful will be indicted.

“I believe in a way she’s more dangerous, except they’re both talking to Henry Kissinger apparently lately,” Sarandon told The Young Turks on Thursday.

http://www.salon.com/2016/06/03/susan_sarandon_hillary_clinton_more_dangerous_than_donald_trump/

“But this is what we’re fed. ‘He’s so dangerous. He’s so dangerous,'” Sarandon said, shrugging off Trump’s most controversial rhetoric as too implausible to be considered a serious threat.

“Seriously I am not worried about a wall being built, he is not going to get rid of every Muslim in this country… but seriously, I don’t know what his policy is. I do know what her policies are, I do know who she is taking money from, and I do know that she is no transparent, and I do know that nobody calls her on it”

This is the result she advocated for., and Trump is the man she wanted as president. I don't give a shit what she calls herself. She chose fascism and racism over democracy. That is who she is. Trump is president because of people like her, and she owns every last death that results. She was explicit in saying she wanted Trump to be president so as more people would suffer and thereby, she claimed, lead to a revolution. She said that while sitting in one of her 6 multimillion dollar homes, generating tens of millions from exploiting labor global South. She is an ally to Trump and the GOP, and she actively and deliberately works to worsen the suffering of the poor.

Fascism is as fascism does.

Did not Believe Stein would be elected. Your claim is obviously absurd. The purpose of backing Stein was to get Trump elected, and she said several times she preferred Trump. If you consider your allies Sarandon, Conway, Spicer, and the rest of the right-wing propaganda machine,, that is your business, but you don't speak for me or the other millions of people Sarandon wants to suffer more.

She chose fascism. That she did so in order to make America worse rather than out of a difference of opinion as to what makes the country and economy better makes her among the very worst.

She also made misogyny a key focus of her opposition to Clinton, not content to insult only the Democratic nominee but also the tens of millions of women who supported Clinton. She may well be an ally of those who share her contempt for women, but she is not mine.

I remember where she said that Clinton on foreign policy, had demonstrable baggage and that Trump was an unknown on that front.

as to the rest, she didn't have any illusions that Trump was going to be a bad President, or whether or not, should he get elected, we were going to need to fight him...her suggestion that there might be a more mobilized and awake citizenry if we get something as horrific as Trump has been spot-on...

whether that is what our nation needs most is what's in question, but at least stick to the facts what what she said and meant.

"her suggestion that there might be a more mobilized and awake citizenry if we get something as horrific as Trump has been spot-on... "

A more mobilized and awake citizenry is a citizenry with power. The change Susan claims to care about can only happen with elected officials voting* to implement what citizens want. A look at California shows what happens when Democrats control government yet Susan attacked the Democrats didn't she? She has no concept of game theory because she doesn't understand civics yet she became a thing last year because she's Susan Sarandon.

She's fallen for anti-establishment arguments which are designed to make us lose faith in Government and destroy it - that is not the Democratic way, we believe in better government by improving/refining and reforming what ails it.... Susan made the argument about personalities, instead of policies. Her criticisms of Hillary were unfounded, antagonistic and clueless.

Mobilization means nothing if we don't have majorities in congress, mobilization amounts to little if we don't have a democratic president to sign legislation that is at the heart of the democratic agenda.

Susan fails to understand all this, which is why she should not be taken seriously............ about anything having to do with politics.

147. Susan Sarandon: Trump more likely to bring 'revolution' than Clinton
Mon Jan 23, 2017, 08:25 PM
Jan 2017

Does anyone remember this line of BS from Sarandon http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/29/politics/susan-sarandon-donald-trump-hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders/
Sarandon, a Bernie Sanders' surrogate, says Donald Trump would be more likely to usher in "the revolution" than Hillary Clinton.

The actress told MSNBC's Chris Hayes Monday she doesn't think she could vote for Clinton in a hypothetical match-up between the two party front-runners.

"I think Bernie would probably encourage people (to support Clinton) because he doesn't have any ego in this thing. But I think a lot of people are, 'Sorry, I just can't bring myself to do that,' " Sarandon said of voting for Clinton in the general election. "I don't know. I'm going to see what happens."

An incredulous Hayes asked Sarandon if that meant she would vote for Trump.

"Some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately, if he gets in. Then things will really, you know, explode," Sarandon said, referring to the political "revolution" Sanders preaches about on the trail.

Hayes clarified that Sarandon was referring to the Marxist concept of revolution, in that Trump would create such a split in America that the upheaval would result in dramatic change.

Sarandon prefered Trump over Clinton which is both sick and sad
