The best thing, imo, about the DC ceremony, is that it didn't shy from ID politics.

And it embraced what some populists called "the establishment," such as corps like Planned Parenthood, and orgs like Emily's List (even letting them walk up and talk on the platform).

You can't throw out ID politics or marginalize it like certain groups want. Blaming it for turning off the rust belt, etc.

Now it's been a long day and this uncle needs a nap, by damn, I'm so glad. Those "nasty" ladies and their period blood talk and their nationally televised "fuck yous" sure did make my day.

Lot of low energy Trump supporters sure are triggered today.
