Conway: Trump administration will "rethink" relationship with the press http://hill.cm/IIyqm1M
This is one of the best delusions that's emerged from the Trump presidency, that shutting the press out from WH communications is going to stop them from reporting. Thing is, it's the politicians and the WH who rely on the mainstream media to deliver their pablum to the people. The idea that reporting would suffer without access is a joke. If anything, it would improve without the daily drivel from this cabal of inveterate liars that just assumed power.
Hell, the alt-outlets she and Bannon think they can rely on don't need to be fed content, they're too invested in making it up. I think most Americans would be relieved to know their news sources don't depend on being stovepiped stories from the Trump administration, especially since it's become clear that there isn't a lick of credibility in anything the new administration says.
Yesterday was just funny and sad, watching Kellyanne offer up her 'alternative facts' like a good little fascist, and having them batted away by people who are practically begging the Trump WH to play it straight so they can instinctively nuzzle up to them once more.
How delicious was it to watch Chucky Todd baffled and chagrined like a spurned lover as Kellyanne threatened to dump him and play the field? I mean, who is really going to want a rebound relationship with that?

from being stenographers for Trump or Bannon.
Judith Miller left her mark. And not in a good way.

They more they think they can rule the media,
the worse it gets, for them.
Truth always, eventually, prevails.

The traditional way of reporting on a president is dead. And Trumps press secretary killed it.
