Read the CIA Transcript with live blog - Press missing scariest part - the man is crazy !

http://althouse.blogspot.com/2017/01/i-live-blog-my-reading-of-transcript-of.html

Excerpt. Shaded: Trump,Unshaded:live blog

And Reince, and my whole group. Reince. You know Reince? They don’t care about Reince.
He knows this isn't a good topic! Why is he telling the CIA about Reince Preibus? They don’t care about Reince. Ah, what the hell? It's a thing to talk about and he hasn't talked long enough yet.

He’s like, this political guy that turned out to be a superstar, right? We don’t have to talk about Reince. But, we did. We had just such a tremendous, tremendous success. So when I’m interviewing all of these candidates that Reince and his whole group is putting in front, it went very, very quickly, and in this case went so quickly. Because I would see six or seven or eight for secretary of agriculture, who we just named the other day.
Suddenly, it's not about Reince anymore. It's about agriculture. He's telling the CIA about the Secretary of Agriculture!

Sunny [sic] Perdue. Former Governor of Georgia. Fantastic guy. But I’d see six, seven, eight people for a certain position. Everybody wanted it.
It's like he's talking in his sleep, babbling impressionistic memories of the last few weeks. Maybe this will get to why Flynn Pompeo* is great. Hang on.

But I met Mike Pompeo, and he was the only guy I met. I didn’t want to meet anybody else. I said “cancel everybody else”. Cancel. Now he was approved, essentially. But they’re doing a little political games with me.
"They" are the Democrats in the Senate, I assume. But this is what I mean about babbling. There's a positive side to this: He gives us the feeling that we are now inside his head, seeing his thoughts. But there's something almost insane about the assumption we know what the references are. Pronouns without antecedents? A disembodied "they" is playing games with him. He makes it so easy for his antagonists to cry: Paranoid!

You know, he was one of the three.
The three? The three what? I have to try to construct a thought that he thought that I was not privy too, despite the feeling of being inside his brain.

He should have said "they have a lot to do to patch this up, if they ever can". What's with giving them another chance?

But, agreed, they were pissed. They couldn't decide what was the worst. Even Halprin (right wing nut case that he is) wasn't having it. The debate was whether the CIA speech or Spicer's press conference were the worst.

Ha, ha. Gotta love it.

According to someone who would know, only the first 3 rows of chairs were CIA people and the rest were the Trump peanut gallery people who apparently are paid to trail him around and clap and cheer. Agents would turn in their seats to see who was clapping. It occurred to me this morning that Trump reminds me of the late Rob Ford without the compassion and common sense.

Donald Trump's New York Times interview reveals a dangerously lazy mind at work
http://www.vox.com/2016/7/21/12245562/donald-trump-new-york-times-interview-full-transcript

The problem with Trump is not just the specific things he says but the casual way in which he says them and the comical “logic” that ties them together. Most of all, it’s the repetition — the fact that it keeps happening without Trump showing any capacity for growth or any interest in doing the work that would make him better at answering questions. For better or worse, Trump is now the GOP nominee and there are hundreds of professional Republican Party politicians and operatives around the country who would gladly help him become a sharper, better-informed candidate.

It doesn’t happen because he can’t be bothered. It’s terrifying.

I think the press harbors the delusion that it would be a terrible shame if the President of the United States was not mentally competent to serve, I think that leads them to denial and pretending like he is just fine (with some quirks). Who besides me thinks Ronald Reagan showed signs of Alzheimer's by his second term? My parents sure did since my Grandmother was suffering from that horrible disease at the same time.

Hell, I don’t even think the guy could get through making one single speech in public. I wouldn’t trust him with running the cash register at a Waffle House, let alone the entire country. "

It is amazing how he doesn't even take the time to figure out what the CIA does...You would think a sane person who is now president would at least take 5 minutes to read a summary of some sort. Are there no experts/teachers?

They jump around from topic to topic, participate in "risky/reckless" behavior (sexual and financial) grandiosity, thinking everything that is "peachy" when it isn't. And of course, his secondary diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Anyone who has been bankrupt as many times as he has you can pretty much figure they have bipolar disorder. He deals with his depressive phases by doing coke - thus the sniffing.

healthy "physically" (intimating mentally was in question).

Why do you say this ? "Anyone who has been bankrupt as many times as he has you can pretty much figure they have bipolar disorder."

There has got to be an explanation for his wacky, incoherent behavior on Sun and his seemingly normal behavior on Monday. Sure, absolutely, we all get exhausted, but tired and fuzzy and cranky is one thing, changing personality 100% to where our whole focus is our own being and how the way the world sees us is another.

That might (stress might) be ok - but it's those nuke codes that scare the shit out of me. Surely all of the above have worried about that? Like maybe they told Pence - find a way, any way, to get him to delegate that all to you.
