GOP Reproductive Policies Meant To Make Women MORE RESPONSIBLE About Having Sex.

Ultimately the GOP plan is to control how, when and where women have sex. Men can "sow their wild oats" but women have to be told they can only have sex under certain circumstances. "GOOD GIRLS ONLY HAVE SEX APPROVED BY THEIR MAN' is the background mantra the way the GOP looks at it.

So if a women is afraid to get pregnant she will be more discreet about having sex outside of marriage. That place is the ONLY play a woman is allowed sex according to RW churches and the GOP.

In fact based on a Raw Story article a Texas legislator has stated just that position. Plus he wants abortion to be a felony along with anyone who assists in the process. How long before it will be a felony to use or possess the pill or birth control devices including condoms.

We are moving back to a time when sex outside of marriage is illegal. It will also be policed.

Eugenics and a "Purity of Race" thing going on with their agenda. Didn't old Adolph try that a while back? Um... and it didn't end well then either.

Of course, there's the argument that nobody would want to have sex with that fat slob.

My gosh! We are really screwn!

They want to go back to the past. If women and others don't get in the street over roe v wade Saturday's march will have been for nothing. If you can't control your body you control nothing. By the way-Canada has no restrictions on abortion. With daughters that was the first thing I looked up after scumbag rigged the election in his favor. I would be willing to run help an underground railroad there as I no longer can get pregnant. First time I ever gave to planned parenthood was after the election. It's a war one way or the other.

they don't give a shit about babies, except maybe in the abstract. This is about controlling women's sex lives.

9. The entire conservative philosophy depends on a class structure of haves and have nots

Everything they do and say depends on a White male dominated class structure. Every moral and ethical argument they make requires this. Every person must fit into a "good" or a "bad" group. The "goods" get all the things, the "bads" get whatever scraps fall off the table. Thus they need a group of "good" women who are chaste and subservient to a man, and they need a group of "bad" women to fool around with.

Look at any argument the conservative makes on any subject and you will see this born out. Its the selfish underpinning of the conservative mind. It always come back to their self interests. I've met conservatives who don't realize this and think they are moral and upstanding, but peel back the veneer and you'll find the selfish nature revealed.

Anybody can test this themselves. Talk to a conservative about their motivations on any topic. Environment, gender relations, economics, security, the arts -- pick anything! And get them to reveal their motivations on that topic. It will always come back to "me" and "I" and "mine".

DEFENDERS OF THE FLAG

It's coming any day said the captain
It's coming any day now cried the priest
The people in high places may defend you
But son you better hope they keep the peace

Can't you hear them calling
Can't you see them shine
The city halls are falling
The defenders drink their wine
And when the party's over
Their stomachs start to sag
Defenders, defenders of the flag

The congregation's waiting at the altar
They can't find the preacher anywhere
They found him with the new girl from the choir
Where they store the boxes of the book of prayer

If these guys are the good ones
I don't want to know the bad
You wonder how it happened
They just picked it up from dad
While faded old glory is hanging like a rag
Defenders, defenders of the flag

The flag is flying high over the courthouse
The wheels of justice never stood a chance
The judge is down at charlies on his lunch hour
Checking out the picture show from France

Carrying a fifth of whiskey
In a dirty paper bag
Threw the ball to home
But they always missed the tag
Faded old glory hanging like a rag
Defenders, defenders of the flag

Little has changed.

11. I wonder just who they are supposed to "sow their wild oats with"

Each other? (Not that there's anything wrong with that).

It just boggles my mind that women are the ones who are supposed to take full responsibility while men are let off the hook. The logic is unsound, for one thing.

Go for it with the oral, anal, gay, lesbian, and every kind but normal man woman intercourse. Wonder how long that lasts before these yahoos go nuts and start raping women or paying for it.
